North West Safaris are holding a series of outdoor Moonlight Cinemas over Summer of 2021-2022.

The screen is ready, the stage is set and all you have to do is bring a chair, bean bag, or a picnic rug and come and watch a classic film after the sun has set!

Our gates open @ 7.15pm with the movie starting as soon as the light fades, around 8.30pm.

Our Moonlight cinemas are fully licensed so you can kickback with beer, cider or cocktail !. Remember, however, that you still need to get home safely after the movie!

  • Grazing platter or wood smoked pulled pork wrap
  • Soft drink varieties and water
  • Choc top ice-creams
  • Popcorn
  • Chocolates and other sweet treats

North West Safaris Weather Policy

We know how glorious our evenings are here in Tassie but it is still important to be prepared. We will be monitoring the weather conditions and checking the radar in the lead up to the night but sometimes a decision to run cannot be made until it's time to open the gates. Movies will run unless mother nature thinks it's time to turn on the thunder and lightning and we have sent you a text to advise we are having to cancel the show.  A little rain will not stop the movie from running.  This means when booking your tickets you will be accepting the weather circumstances of that evening and if you decide you don't find what mother nature has offered to your liking a refund will not be given.

So be prepared with something waterproof (naturally no brollies allowed), or if it looks like it may be a little chilly, bring a warm jumper, a blanky, and even a beanie, let's face it no one is going to see your hat hair after dark!

Let's hope we don't ever have to cancel a screening, but if we do you will be entitled to exchange your tickets to another movie night during the showing season.  We will not be offering refunds because of weather cancellations unless of course, it is the final week of the season.
