North West Safaris
The Kentish and North West regions provide an amazing abundance of natural beauty and features, and will soon be listed as a world-class mountain biking destination. If you are looking for a fun family activity or for an adrenaline rush Mountain Bike trails can be found in The Badgers Range between Sheffield and Railton and the Warrawee Reserve near Latrobe. Wild Mersey is a world class mountain bike trail network being developed in North West Tasmania, and will offer more than 100+ kilometres of mixed-landscape riding, with the initial Warrawee and Railton tracks open and the completed trail networks including Sheffield to be completed and open in late 2021. Lake Barrington is the perfect playground for water and nature enthusiasts to explore. Set amongst stunning scenery of deep forested landscapes with cool deep waters lapping at the lake's shoreline to ignite all your senses. It is the perfect location for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and fishing. The lake is home for lots of wildlife too and if you are lucky you may even see a platypus! X marks the spot, for the kids little and big, we have set up a fun kayak treasure hunt of features around the lake with a prize for the littlies at the end for a completed list.
